Beta Testing
News: I haven't had time to upgrade this version, so there's one more timeout. Apologies for the inconvenience. It'll be removed once the free version is upgraded with new (free) features. The public beta of the database and HUD is almost ready, new screenshots below:
Changes in this version:
- 9/17 Miscellaneous small fixes including O8 replayer equity on Stars.
- 6/14 Added new graph type - probability graph, which gives a measure of all-in variance and its effect on winrate variance. It's a small sample of what's available in the next version
- Limited Ongame support added to the main program - please note it only works with Ongame hand histories that contain mucked cards, and hands older than 3 months may be inaccurate.
- If you're having problems with the installer, zip is available herebr>
If you haven't seen it, a preview of the next version is available here

Old Installation Instructions
Thanks for testing this out. A couple of notes:
PokerEV uses the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. If you run Windows Vista or poker apps such as PokerGrapher and TourneyManager it's already installed. Otherwise, you can install it manually or have the PokerEV installer automatically download and install if for you.
Large databases can take a very long time to load. At this time it's recommended to stay below 50K hand imports at a time unless you have a fast machine. I'm working on a 2-3x speedup and lower memory usage during imports. At this time loading and graphing more than 100K hands may cause out of memory problems.
PokerEV only supports Party Poker, Full Tilt, PokerStars, Ultimate Bet, Everest and iPoker networks, and only ring games
Any problems, please let us know by email or on the forums
Beta Downloads
Download Beta 0.8
12/5/2007
- Timeout extended until next year
- Changing hands in the replayer now updates the analysis tab
- Fixed issue with replayer skipping non showdown hands
- Fixed issue with FT hand history format change which caused the replayer to display omaha hi-lo hands as omaha.
- Zip is available here if you're having problems with the installer.
11/18/2007 - Fixed error in replayer equity introduced in the last patch. If you downloaded PokerEV in the last two days only, you should get the latest update above. All other versions and equity calcs apart from the replayer are ok
11/14/07: Changes in 0.8
- New version is in alpha testing, I will make an announcement with the new features and screen shots soon. Rest assured that a free version will continue to be available even if the product goes on sale, although timeouts will continue for another couple of months to ensure people upgrade old buggy versions.
- Statistics show all-in adjusted instead of NetSB value, to avoid confusion.
- Replayer fixes for pot sizes in the thousands on various sites
- 11/16 CHANGES:
- Fixed problems with Everest skipped hands
- Fixed problem with PokerEV sometimes missing dead cards in side pots (not noticable for most players)
- Returned option for stats to use NetSB (for limit players)
Changes in 0.79:
- Fixed incorrect date graph on Luck tab
- Removed total adj. from graph to avoid confusion. Please use the "Luck Tab" graphs to tell how well you're running, which uses all-in hands. The others calculate SB on all hands which is useful for analysis but can skew the luck results toward running good or bad.
